Yopparai began in 2012 as an intimate Japanese sake bar and restaurant known for a wide variety of sake paired with traditional cuisine and adventurous dishes. After a long pandemic induced break, we recently reopened at our new location on the Lower East Side. We continue to serve menu favorites like homemade tofu, sashimi, and grilled meat/fish, while also adding new offerings like sushi and Japanese hot pot. Still providing a broad offering of Japanese sake, we aim to bring a personal sake tasting experience to our guests. Allow one of our educated staff members to help you select your favorite sake, served in our house collection of traditional glassware.
